The Feghali Drag is OK.

June 11, 2011

Irony is sometimes the result of ignorance and denial in one boat.

While many of the LGBT society are discriminated and frowned upon in the Lebanese community, which worships entertainment, people like Bassem Feghali, the drag queen of the entertainment scene, is more than celebrated and welcome.

double standards?

Bassem Feghali

Lesson: It’s o.k to be different in Lebanon, only if you plan to be a circus.

Universal Declaration of Human Rights:
Article 4: “No one shall be held in slavery or servitude; slavery and the slave trade shall be prohibited in all their forms.” — In some deep-twisted form: you can be part of the LGBT community only if you serve the rest with entertainment.
