We decided to walk from Hamra to Downtown last week, and got off track into this place .. i wish i had pictures of the other brand new architecture they are surrounded by (so much for reserving heritage Solidere!) and the INTENSIVE security; we were being watched by over 15 policemen and security guards the moment we got in till we left (mind you, we were literally just trying to get to Beirut Souks).
The sign on the building in the second photo says: “Any person who tries to mess with this building or things it contains will be subject prosecution – Solidere” “كل من يحاول العبث بهاذا المبنى او محتوياته سيتعرض للملاحقة القانونية – سوليدير”
